AWS EC2 and Digital Ocean UserData

Userify Express, AWS, and Enterprise have built in CloudInit/UserData support. (You can also use the Instant Deployment script that is available on free platforms, but because those links expire, they cannot be used to build Autoscaling Groups.)

This allows compatible platforms, such as EC2, Digital Ocean, Rackspace, and most OpenStack derivatives, to run a script upon server boot. This is most useful when used with CloudFormation, which allows you to kick off an entire "application stack" within a single script, but it can be quite useful when launching a single instance or autoscaling group as well.
