Your servers or cloud instances are billed on an hourly basis only when they are online and getting updates, and only for your actual utilization.
There are no fees for the number of keys you have uploaded, the number of users you have, the number of users per server, or the number of changes you make every month.
Userify was designed to work perfectly with autoscaling groups. As an autoscaling orchestrator cycles servers in and out, you are only billed when a server is actually online and getting updates.
If you normally run a smaller number of servers/instances, but occasionally scale up for a big processing job like training an AI inference model, you would only be billed for the actual number of servers you run in any given hour. This provides substantial savings because your actual workload is the only thing that is billed. There is also no cost for changing your user provisioning or deploying additional keys.
No, the free tier does not expire; this is our way of supporting smaller teams and projects. If you exceed 5 servers, please make sure your credit card is updated so that you don't experience an interruption in service.
